$3 Clothing at Gateway Goodwill: The Road Construction Sale, Nov 2–30

Road construction near a store is bad news for the store — so Goodwill San Antonio is turning it into a deal for shoppers. Its Gateway store in Live Oak is holding a Road Construction Sale: clothing priced at $3, all month long.

The details

Where: Gateway Goodwill Store, 7693 North Loop 1604 East, Live Oak, TX 78233
When: Monday, November 2 through Monday, November 30, 2026 · 10:00am–7:00pm
What: Clothing at $3
Where else: Nowhere — this sale is at the Gateway store only.

The two rules that matter

Weekdays only. The $3 price runs Monday through Friday. It does not apply on Saturdays and Sundays — show up on a weekend and clothing rings up at the regular price.

No stacking. The sale price cannot be combined with other discounts, so do not save a coupon expecting to use both on the same item.

How to shop it

1. Go early in the month. A month-long sale gets picked over like any other. The best sizes and brands move first, so a trip in the first week beats a trip on the 30th.
2. Pick a weekday morning. The sale is weekday-only anyway, and mornings are usually the calmest time in any thrift store — first pick of what went out the day before.
3. Give yourself extra minutes for the drive. It is called a construction sale for a reason: expect the trip on Loop 1604 to run slower than usual and the lot to be tighter than you remember.
4. Bring a sizes list. At $3 a piece, this is the month to stock up on basics — jeans, work shirts, and kids’ clothes in the next size up.
